OMG: Hope for net neutrality?

I'm still of the opinion the major media networks are going to band together and clamp down some order on what's currently the Wild Wild Interwest, but I must admit President Barack Obama's announcement of Julius Genachowski as nominee for FCC chief is heartening. If nothing else, this move should (hopefully) delay the merger/pay-for-play access power grab that ISPs and major media outlets have been threatening for years.
